We had the opportunity to chat with Émilie, who has held the position of Operations Manager at Crews for the past year. In this interview, she shared with us her thoughts on her responsibilities within the company, as well as her key role in the management of operations and the strategic development of our business. Here are her answers and perspectives.
As Director of Operations, my role is to ensure that the experience for both our learners and our teaching team is as satisfactory as possible. This involves coordinating and monitoring teaching methods, keeping participants motivated and committed, and organizing all our training courses. I am also responsible for quality management within our organization.
I held a number of positions in higher education, notably as coordinator and then educational director for student training courses. I then moved into vocational training, where I was in charge of deploying customized training projects for major corporations, then Operations Director, coordinating various services for companies (dedicated classes, customized training, responding to calls for tender, certification accreditation).
Since August 2023.
When Camille Broussin contacted me to introduce me to Crews, I particularly appreciated the fact that he placed the experience of participants, partners and the Crews team at the heart of his values. Not just to meet quality requirements, or other indicators, but so that all Crews players could embody and feel it. The project would also respond to a market need: to train learners in digital skills by applying them to a predefined sector, thus ensuring greater employability on completion of the training.
We are currently recruiting a training assistant to complete our experience department. We are expanding our range of professional training courses, which will be specialized in different sectors, and will enable professionals to develop their skills.
My job covers a wide range of tasks: recruiting instructors, accompanying and coaching learners, coordinating teaching activities, etc.
In the end, it encompasses all my previous experience in a single function. As Crews is a recent structure, everything has to be created and shaped to ensure that we live up to our commitments and values, and every assignment is a challenge.
Handling of e-mails, team meetings, verification of teaching content, exchanges with lecturers, videoconferencing to support students looking for work-study placements, experience follow-up for students during their training, analysis of a company's training needs.
Do you want to work in a caring and stimulating company? Want to work wherever you want? Welcome to Crews!
My main aim is to make our learners' experience satisfying, both in terms of personal and professional fulfillment. They are at the heart of our commitment, and their success in achieving their goals will also be our success.
From a personal point of view, I'm also keen to embody crews' values in terms of employer branding, in order to integrate and develop new employees within our structure.
