SEO (Search Engine Optimization) corresponds to the natural referencing of pages on the various search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. This web traffic acquisition technique maximizes the number of visitors by positioning website pages as high as possible in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) after a user search. To work on SEO, it's necessary to think about the semantic fields and relevant keywords on which to position yourself, and to optimize your website in line with these elements. There are 4 pillars to SEO:

  • Technical: page structure, loading time, title tags, internal linking, etc.
  • Content: diversity of content, recency and updating of content, consistency of semantic fields, no duplicate content...
  • Netlinking: the reputation of your site and your page, i.e. the links from other websites that lead to yours.
  • Local SEO: optimizing your visibility in local searches, thanks to listings such as Google My Business.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) doesn't take into account the paid advertising generated by Search Engine Advertising (SEA). It's therefore a very interesting part of the process to implement, with the aim of achieving good referencing while minimizing traffic acquisition costs.
